Keftagine

This book showcases a collection of custom cakes made by my friend Munir Ech Chounani in Assilah, Tangier, somewhere around 2017–2018.
The photos were taken by Munir himself for his personal catalogue.
Each cake was a special commission from someone in town, from the local police officer to the hairdresser, and even the neighborhood kids.
The cakes are accompanied by some drawings as an interpretation of the work.
The 2nd volume was ruined by Munir’s considerable improvement of skills.
